Hollow pvc tubing, spiral tubing, ribbon, metal look silver cord, wired metallic silver ribbon, cyberlox.
My method of wearing plastic is best to acheive maximum height and fullness, even with the slimmest and lightest of designs.
Plastic falls can range from £50-£80.00 depending on what is required.

What is the best way to cover your hair for plastic falls? I recommend you use tights to form a 'bun cover'. Cut the legs off opaque tights, then cut down each side of the leg stopping about 1-2 inches from the toe as this will leave you a pocket in which to place over your bun. Once you place this end over your bun, take the two leg strips and wrap them around opposite ways until you have fairly short ends that can be tied together and do so and repeat for other bun. With plastic, you really need to wrap material around the base of them to provide height, fullness and control, as plastic falls will seperate over your buns and simply hang. You can use any long piece of material, but I find tights are best for this. Simply cut the legs off tights and cut the foot end off, wrap around the base of your falls tightly and tie the two ends together. Now you can play with the plastic and how it sits over your buns. This method is brilliant with any falls.
In some photos I have covered my hair in a different way: instead of making my braids into buns, I have taken the bun covers and used them to wrap around my braids similar to a mummy style. Place the end of your braids in the pocket and then wrap the material around until you get to the top where you will place your falls over and tie together.

Plastic Falls are an original loved cyber / industrial look and are made up of pvc tubing, plastic lacing, foam and can be mixed with dreads, cyberlox, braids, loose hair, etc...combinations are endless. Particularly stunning when worn at a club as most plastics are uv reactive. Plastic designs generally weigh more, but I am careful to keep that to a minimum so they are fairly light and comfortable, ie: the tubing is hollow. As with all my designs, these falls are unique and no two sets are exactly alike. If you would like to make a design request click here. |
Recipes for plasticType A: Rexlace and foam falls. Slim and very light, these can be worn over other hair falls, permanent extensions or natural hair. *I have worn these on their own in my gallery photos. Type B: Tubing, rexlace and foam. Higly textured with more fullness. *Cyberlox are a brilliant accent added. Type C Deluxe: Tubing, rexlace and foam falls with dreads and any other materials creating highly textured, uniquely stunning hair pieces. They often have an anime sytle appeal. I am particularly proud of this design. Single tubing fall: as seen on Rivetmike, these are a popular way for men to add temporary effects to their hair. They can also contain foam and cyberlox. All of the above are just suggestions. Any materials can be used to create a unique combination. |
